FSTC's Defence Department is revolutionising India's defence manufacturing landscape by promoting indigenous production to meet the needs of 1.44 million active personnel in the armed forces. Aligning with the Atma Nirbhar Bharat initiative, the department prioritises "Indigenisation and self-reliance" to reduce dependence on imported defence products.
To nurture young talent, FSTC offers customized internship programs in aviation simulator design and DBGS development. Years of research and development have led to the establishment of facilities catering to the needs of PSUs, like HAL, and the Armed Forces.
